Ingredients

4-6 boneless and skinless chicken breasts

1/4 cup (60 ml) olive oil

1/2 cup (125 ml) chicken broth

2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

12 cup capers, rinsed and draiend

1 tablespoon dried parsley

1 whole lemon, sliced

1/4 teaspoon salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

Gather all ingredients for your dish, excluding the fresh lemon and chicken broth, in a gallon-sized freezer-safe bag. Mix well and store in the freezer until ready to use.

Allow the food to thaw naturally in the refrigerator overnight before beginning to cook it.

Place into a 6-quart (6 L) slow cooker. Top with chicken broth and lemon slices.
