Paleo Recipes Ideas for People Who Hate Planning Meals Ahead of Time

The Paleo diet is a great way to lose weight and improve your health. It’s also a lot easier than you might think. The diet is based on eating unprocessed foods like meat, seafood, vegetables, and fruit. You can also eat eggs, nuts, seeds, and oils such as olive oil or coconut oil.

By changing the typical way you eat, you can lose weight and improve your health. The Paleo diet is low on sugar, dairy, and carbs, which many people find restrictive. If you’re used to eating a lot of vegetables and fruits with each meal, the Paleo diet will seem very limiting.

However, there are ways to make it more flexible without compromising its effectiveness. The Paleo Diet Philosophy Why less? Beyond the obvious answer that we should eat less processed food in order to slim down and improve our health, the Paleo Diet diet is based on the observation that dietary change causes our DNA to respond with a change in gene expression.

In other words, as our diet changes, so do we. With each new food eaten, there are new reactions with genes that ultimately cause us to build different tissues and organs throughout our body. So it’s important for us to eat a wide variety of foods in order to stay healthy and experience a great deal of generic expression because it’s not just individual foods that make us who we are, it’s the sum of all of them.

Is Salmon a Paleo-Friendly?

Salmon is a great source of omega-3 fatty acids and protein, but it’s not always paleo-friendly.

The most common concern with salmon is that it contains mercury, which may be harmful to the body.

The FDA recommends limiting the consumption of fish high in mercury to 6 ounces per week.

However, the benefits of eating salmon outweigh the risks for most people.

Fish are also a major source of vitamins D and B, along with omega-3 fatty acids. The omega-3 fatty acids found in fish have been shown to have many benefits, such as the reduction of heart disease risk factors. Fish that are high in mercury levels should be given caution when eaten.

Ingredients

1½ pounds (720 g) of frozen salmon fillets

1/4 cup (60 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice

3/4 cup (180 ml) water

fresh basil, dill, or parsley

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 lemon, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon avocado oil

Instructions

Pour water and lemon juice into an electric instant pot. Add fresh herbs (dill, parsley, or basil).

Place a steamer rack in the instant pot.

Drizzle the salmon fillets with avocado oil, and season with salt and black pepper. Sprinkle it with garlic powder.

Transfer seasoned salmon fillets to the steamer rack.

Close the pot and lock the lid.

Set the machine to cook to high pressure. Set the timer to cook for 7 minutes.

Using the Quick Release method, bring pressure to normal. Carefully unlock and open the lid.

Using a spatula remove cooked salmon and lemon slices from the cooker and transfer them to a serving plate.

Notes

To avoid having your pieces stuck together, submerge them in water until they're able to be separated without discomfort. This will make the fish easier to cook whilst still giving it that unique flavor.

If your salmon has a thickness of more than 1 inch, you might need to consider adding one more minute or two to the cooking time.
