Ingredients

1½ cups (375 ml) whole-milk plain yogurt

2 tablespoons chopped ginger

1 tablespoon paprika

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

1 teaspoon ground cumin

3 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped

3/4 pound (360 g) bone-in chicken quarters

Instructions

In a blender, combine all ingredients, except chicken quarters. Blend until smooth.

Pour the spiced mixture into a large zip-top plastic bag. Add the chicken and turn to coat.

Marinate in a refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Remove marinated chicken from the refrigerator and allow it to stand at room temperature for 45 minutes.

Preheat your air fryer to 400º F (200º C)

Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the remaining marinade.

Place marinated chicken in the air fryer basket. Fry at 400º F (200º C) for 10 minutes, then flip it and cook for a further 5-7 minutes.
