It’s the Ketogenic Diet
Keto is not just a diet or a lifestyle. It’s the way we think about food and the way we live. It’s not just eating fat and protein to get cancer-resistant organs. It’s more than that. The Ketogenic Diet is rewriting how we understand our bodies, food, and health in general.
A ketogenic diet is a very low-carb diet, which forces the body to break down fats into ketones. It’s a very high fat, moderate protein, and low-calorie diet. It’s different from other low-carb diets because it doesn’t limit food intake to just vegetables and proteins, but also allows for whole plant foods like moderation of fruit, whole grains, dairy, and even some animal proteins.
